                  FORNEY RESIDENT RECEIVES US PATENT

After several years of planning and experimentation,
Forney resident Tim Stewart received a United States
Patent for his invention. Patent number 6,951,408 was
issued from the United States Patent And Trademark
Office for his invention, the Cemetery Monument
Illuminator (CMI). The Illuminator mounts to the top of
the headstone, and is adjustable for different sized
stones. It illuminates the monument by use of, LED lights,
which are powered by an internal power supply and
charged by a solar cell. The use of the Cemetery
Monument Illuminator can be used to mourn a death,
personalize a burial site, or to symbolize the everlasting
nature of life. The Illuminator can be installed by anyone
in just minutes. It provides a warm glow at night, by
lighting the face of the headstone. By being directional,
the Illuminator can not only light up the monument, but
also a portion of the burial plot. The warm glow brings a
sense of warmth to those mourning their loss, while
providing a comforting feeling to all. Thanks CMI for
putting Forney in the LIGHT.
